Chai Latte & Loaf
For our first ever Art of TLC session last night, we whipped up a chai frenzy with a creamy chai latte and a loaf. There’s nothing better than arriving for a cosy session and sippin’ on spicy, sweet goodness to ease yourself in. If you fancy re-creating these for ultimate autumnal goodness at home - here’s the recipe for both…
Chai Latte
(This recipe is for two - multiply as needed!)
2 mugs of whole Oatly milk
2 bags of masala chai tea bags (I used Tea India)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla paste
Maple syrup to taste
Begin to warm the oat milk in a pan on a low heat. Add your teabags and allow to steep for a while. Start to add your cinnamon, vanilla and maple syrup. Mix until it has created a glorious deep colour and smells DREAMY. Remove the teabags and serve… Enjoy!
Chai Loaf
Prep a loaf tin, line if with baking paper. Pre-heat your oven to 180C
1 mashed banana
75g Vitalite (dairy free butter)
100g brown sugar
100g ground almonds
125g self raising flour
1tsp ground cinnamon
1tsp vanilla paste
1 cup of the delicious chai latte your just made (or heat 1 medium mug of oat milk with a chai tea bag)
2 tsp baking powder
Mix the butter, sugar and mashed banana. Fold in your almonds, flour, cinnamon, vanilla and baking powder, then add your chai latte.
Scoop into your loaf tin and bake for 30 minutes (start checking from around 25 minutes)
